Ya, I'm still hummming and haaaaing about them. I took Arctic Assassian comment to heart, it hurt me bad, but then I began to see the light and I realised "ya they might look like ass on my car" I also found a set of 7 spoke 17" subaru mags locally for 350$. But in my case weight is a little more important than looks, and as you say 45lb is kinda heavy. So I'm coming back to the Lgt mesh mags which I still think look the best, especialy after I paint them GOLD like the unfortunate smelting accident I had a couple of years ago.......
SO now I'm looking for 205 50 16 tires. Most likely from tire rack. How did you like the falkens?? They've been rated #1 on tire rack for several years, but they're so cheap I'm scared. I'm looking at Fuzion ZRi, Potenza RE760, and the Yokohama S drive. Wet traction is most important to me.
Wheel size help please!!

I've used the Falken all season Ziex 512 and have been very pleased for a daily driver, and have been through three sets between my two Subarus. I have the FK 451 in 205/50 as my summer tires for the SS... VERY happy with them, although I've pretty much worn them down to nothing by now.Canadian Turbo wrote:How did you like the falkens?? I'm currently on Falken ZE-912s, which I think are the replacement for the 452, or the 512 or whatever their last performance all season was.
Anyway, I've driven them on all sorts of ice and snow, dirt, gravel, rally-xed, and gone up in the canyons with them.
Overall I'm very happy with their performance as an all season. Of course, I'd rather have dedicated summer/winter tires, but with the driving I do I basically need all seasons. Today my car was driving down rally stages, for example.
The sidewalls are softer than I'd like, but dry grip is pretty impressive, they do well in rain, dirt traction is really good, and in the snow I didn't die. I did expect a little better snow/ice performance out of them as my car was pretty twitchy. That could be related to the width and suspension, though.
