New downpipe, no o2 sensor
I just recently bought a wrx downpipe off ebay for my 91 22t and it has no o2 sensor bung whatsoever. so i installed it an just unplugged the o2 sensor and ive been driving like that for a few weeks. it seems to be having no problems and only trips the cel wen i get on the interstate and am at high speeds for awhile. i even took a few 140 mile trips and i did fine other than the tripped cel. is this ok to be running like this? if not can i somehow wire it so the ecu thinks theres an o2 sensor?

Do NOT leave it unplugged like that. Yes it will run, but it won't adjust fuel accordingly.
Go to an exhaust shop and have them weld in an O2 bung at the top of the DP and screw it in there. It's easy.
