Overboosting and over reving problems?

I need sum help on a problem
Ive got a 91 rs legacy single turb,manual,wid a boost gauge,pod and a ssq bov
my car seems to over rev and over boost when i full throttle yet if i gradually push the throttle and keep my boost at bout 5psi it picks up nice but as soon as i give it full gas it starts overboost/reving?

Another thing is when im changing down to stop and i change to neutural its like the car wants to cut out i think? but im not sure but i think it could have something to do with my bov cause its a atmoshpere type and ive heard alot about stalling with that type of bov

1 more thing i seem to get a warning light everytime i go down hill but when i stop to check it out the light goes off

it soulds like your clutch is not able to hold the extra power so it bounces off the rev limiter. but for the over boosting. what max psi are you getting when full throttle?

bout 15 psi and thats at full throttle pushed flat but the speed dos'nt move just the boost and the revs

yeah it sounds as if your clutch is slipping when you give it full throttle.

I would say upgrade your clutch. If you want to go OEM you could put a WRX flywheel and then upgrade the clutch from there. That is what I did and it works great.

and for your idle problem, it could be the bov but that model is closed during idle so, i think you have a vacume leak some where elts.

Finally got me a heavy duty clucth and works like a charm and yep it was a leak had to change most of my hoses then shez running sweet again thanx for the help
