Just busted my rear suspension *&&^%$$#

Post by ocs811 »

I need to find either a used set of 4 struts complete for my 94, or i have to buy new. Any ideas?. I already looked at KYB GR2 struts, but i need to buy the mounts and coil over springs ect..

Thanks

If you bought GR2's, your stock springs and everything should go right on them.

I wish it was that easy, my wagon has the air ride with the air bladder instead of the coil srpings. I popped the rear two going up the mountain.

Yeah, just get springs and new struts.

Find a legacy in the junkyard. Here in the next week or so I should have a set of '93 Legacy Wagon springs as Im planning on fitting WRX springs and new GR2's this weekend.

I took your advise and bought a new strut conversion kit for my subaru, it should be here in a week.

The strut conversion kit is from Strutmasters, they are designed to replace the air ride in my subaru. They come pre assembled so all that has to be done is install the new ones. The cost of used ones at the wrecker were just a 200$ less than new. It's the cheapest and easiest way to go.
