Hi beams not working

My hi beams aren't working, everthing else is,. I can flash them but when i push them on the headlights go out. Any ideas?

Does the headlight indicator on the dash go on when you flash the headlights?

Do both headlights work? Or just one?

Chances are the stalk is bad.

No the headlight indicator does not work and both lights don't work on hibeam but they do on low beam.

I checked when i flash the hi beams the indicator does flash.

Ok....if both hi beams and the indicator works when you use the "flash" on the stalk, then I'd still suspect the stalk/lever arm.
