Performance exhaust system
Does anyone kno how much a performance exhaust system costs at midas or meinekee?? I have a 92 legacy L
92 Subaru Legacy L Sedan...a beast
You'll have to buy an exhaust for an N/A Impreza and have them modify it to fit onto your car. There aren't any bolt on exhausts for our cars.
E-bay exhausts are cheap, sound nice and actually get the job done well.

well, they do technically bolt on, to the engine anyways, it just exits on the wrong side or something like that doesnt it?
the unequal headers sound very nice, the equal get more power, but the sound of an unequal outweighs the small power gains of an equal, in my opinion

The exhaust will exit on the correct side. An extension will need to be welded on to connect your headers to your mid-pipe. It'll be simple for an exhaust shop to do.Murphy wrote:well, they do technically bolt on, to the engine anyways, it just exits on the wrong side or something like that doesnt it?

And I'm in full agreement with your comment on the headers. Lol.

They'll give you any kind of mild steel Chinese junk you want. Definitely go with a used Impreza (or even a 17 year old used Legacy would be better than one of those shops). The stuff those shops sell is designed to rot out in a year. They warranty the cheap materials, but not the labor. If you just want a muffler, buy a stainless one somewhere and have them instal it if you can't do it.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
