Hi all,
I have a 93 L 2.2 liter NA with the 4 speed AT.
I've been tearing my engine apart trying to stop an oil leak and after test driving it a bit I found a small puddle in the vicinity of my front differential. I've already replaced my oil pump seal, crankshaft/camshaft seals, oil pan seal, oil filler tube o-ring, and valve cover gaskets. The only ones I can think of that I didn't hit were the rear main oil seal, the cylinder head gaskets, and the intake manifold gasket.
Does this sound like a rear main oil seal leak? Is there a way to get to the rear main oil seal without tearing out the flywheel and disconnecting the transaxle like Haynes tells you to do?
Thanks!!

If it's coming from the rear of the engine, it's probably the rear oil separator plate, rather then the seal.
Either way, you have to remove the trans and engine to get at it.
