Does the wastegate actuator move towards the firewall when open or towards the front of the car?

Mine was stuck too at its "off" possition.

Put an Adjustable wrench on it and wiggle it back and forth untill it comes free. I had to Crank REALLY *%#@ hard towards the firewall to get it free. now it works smooth as butter again.
Get it done before the turbo bushings get ruined......

I sprayed mine with WD-40 and moved it with plyers. Now it work just fine. No more over boost and hitting the fuel cut.
