The "chemically enhanced" Legacy Central Thread

Post by 555BCTurbo »

So...the glass lined tanks of Old Latrobe are treating me very well...and I figured that we needed a sort of journal for us drunkie types to express our drunk views on most any topic...

I want to discuss how much of a badass forum Legacy Central is:

The VAST majority of users on here are such a bunch of awesome people...I mean, where else do you find a forum that actually has helpful information, blended with witty humor?

I love you guys...

Continue whatever discussions make you happy!!

Oregon trail? Middle of May outside of Portland. I'm going with Mike Shields and some srtusa or dc shoes people or something. Mike just said to buy a plane ticket and everything is covered.

Anyway, a guy brought cigars to the nasioc meet tonight. I still have a little buzz going off it.

I wish I wasn't so far away. I'd love to be there in oregon.
But yeah, I'm drunk too, and this place is so much better than NASIOC... which I don't even log on anymore unless it's to sell overpriced performance parts to military/ricer types that have too much money to spend, not enough sense to do the work themselves, and not enough luck to keep from blowing up time after time... it's not even funny.

I dont think I have ever had such a useful, relevant and liquid resource todraw from, ever.
I hear my AK IPA calling.
peace.

I "love you to man"! LOL But really, your not getting my Bud.

This forum is a true reflection of its members, from Dave on down the the new-b with his one post. It shows caring, experience, knowledge and just a small amount of paternal pride. We even have a bit of toenail fungus asking questions like "Um yeah I got this tee-leg off my old man and I wanna know if you can like get sum altezzas or what. And whats the biggest turbo I can put on this rag and how much power will it beat the neighbors civic with?"

I do love this forum and will remain a member even if I should one day part with my beloved "92. And Im nursing scotch neat.

Mmmm, scotch. How I miss thee.

I gave up drinking a while ago due to the fact that I'm really not into the way alcohol makes me feel. That, and I have a CDL so my limit is .04% and I'm 5'6", 145 lbs. One drink is no fun, and it's not worth the DUI. I'm not really into the whole pay out the ass for a Guinness at a crowded bar full of raging dicks scene either.

Potski, on the other hand, is my cup of tea. All day, every day. Though I have had to lay off due to the DOT safety course I need to go through for work. My boss, who is also my best friend, told me "lemme know when you're good to go". I'll give it a coulple more weeks.

Maybe I'll pick up a bottle of Dewar's 12 the next time I'm out. And I still enjoy a good bloody mary from time to time.

My idiot girlfriend got a dui last night. She was coming home from her girlfriends and had the cruise control set at 50, in a 45. cop poped her, made her walk the line, then took her to the jail to get processed. I LOVED waking up at 4:00 am, three hours before I have to work, which I'm doing now.

Dont get me wrong.....

I will NOT ever drink while there is a chance I may have to do somthing that will endanger myself or others.

I seldom go to a bar and if I do I only sip beer and follow the 1 hour for every drink rule.

Besides 1 wife + 2 kids (under age 2) = very boring person :)

The bar was pretty void of "talent" tonight. Pretty sad for a town that has the highest rate of STD's in the state, lol.

Deep thoughts for the night: Garrett ftw.

Some of my favorites, in no particular order;

Ice cold Corona on a HOT summer day (in Tijuana w/ a taco, if possible)
Sam Adams...Boston ale, not that winter crap
Newcastle.....best bar beer
Fat Tire
Irish Car Bombs with someone who's never had one
Brooklyn Brewery happy hour at the brewery, the Monster rocks.
Guiness...best meal substitute.
Victoria Bitter...(Oz) Best beer you'll never find in the States. NO ONE drinks Foster's in Australia.
Heineken in Amsterdam...White star, not red. Completely different than what we get here.
Patron Cafe...coffee flavored tequila. Try it!!
Cavit wines...inexpensive and good. I might be related...my family vintage (McCavitt...the poor Irish cousins)

Potski's off the menu as a D.O.T. employee, so I try to keep my palate educated about good booze.

Wow, Richard, I'm still chuckling.... out of the park home run!

Anyway, it's an Australian beer, I've seen it most places I've been outside the States. Commonly known as VB., white can, green label and red V.B.
