Anyone see the new ford commercial?
I just saw another lame ford commercial tonight, but one thing that was said really urked me. I heard "....and yes, Fords quality is now equal with toyota" WHAT THE FUCK!!! need I say more?
Good judgment comes from experience, and often experience comes from bad judgment.

1992 SS 4EAT Winestone (minus 2 gears/SOLD)
1994 TW 4EAT Quicksilver (blown up/SOLD)

also, i'm not advocating toyota as the best, but come on. I work on multiple car brands every day, and let me tell you that toyota is light years beyond ford. I would say top quality goes to Honda. with toyota at second, with nissan, and subaru tied for third. ford......ha ha ha, yeah somewhere way at the bottom.

Ford is paying off people like J.D. Power and Consumer Reports. I'm 100% sure of it.
I'm really, really itching to go on another long tirade against Ford, but I'll keep it succinct by saying I think that legal action needs to be taken to shut the company down entirely, after this cruise-control fire-hazard recall has been expanded to include something like 20 more models, including Fazdas (what we around the shop call Fords rebadged as Mazdas). Something like 9 million vehicles are affected. As far as I'm concerned, that's negligence approaching intent of genocide.
I'm moving dozens of cruise deactivation switches for B-series trucks and Tributes through warranty now.

wow, that's ridiculous.
i think that's ironic in another way also.
i think it was about 4 or 5 months ago they (ford) purchased ALOT of information from
toyota regarding..
Hydrogen tech
VVT-i
Fuel cell tech (kinda the same)
AND!!....
Quality control procedures
alot of other companies did this also, mostly b/c of the fact that every car company is owned/managed by another one.
kinda funny,
