Tweeters or regular 'window triangle'

Post by skid542 »

Most of us have had the joy of fighting with those stupid plastic triangles on the front doors/windows. You know the ones that always seems to warp and then let air noise through, or even better, just break.

Well I'm thinking of making a mold to make some nice fiberglass replacement triangles. It wouldn't have the textured finish but instead would have a nice smooth surface.

So the question is, if I'm going to make a mold for these guys, how much interest is there for a tweeter setup vs the regular non-fancy triangle?

I will of course make these available to everyone once I get them going. Do keep in mind though that I am out a fair bit on these so don't get too excited just yet :).

That's great. I'm not really doing this for a profit, it's a personal project that has community benefits.

My question to the BBS is how many people will ever bother with tweeters vs how many people could care less and just want a clean unbroken trim piece?

They make tweeter ones for 95 - 99 Leggys. Would those be the same as ours? I'd be interested, but just in a tentative, non-committal way.

mind, infact it would be great to have something like that, it mainly just depends on if it would be at a size for after market tweeters?
