Change the new boost solinoid from WRX to Legacy turbo?

I am think replace an WRX boostto my 92 Legacy turbo, do you guys
think it will rise the stock boost on our BC legacy turbo?
Since the new turbo could let the boost up to 17-18psi , I think it
will help for the boost cut, am I right? Are there any major ECU
problem if replace the new Boost solinoid from WRX to Legacy turbo???
Just a thinking pop up to my mind when I got a boost cut this morning!
