tires too wide?

Post by JimmEh »

hey guys i have a '95 legacy wagon and i am wondering if 225's are too wide. i have read that some people have trouble with rubbing. but thats with the 94's and earlier before the body change. is anyone familiar with the 95+?

i am looking at 18x7.5 with 225/35r18 if that is not going to work i'll look for a 17 with a narrower tire.

thanks in advance for any help or advice :)

Yeah...that will rub...

The widest I have seen successfully installed on a Legacy without rubbing is a 215.
