Cold start issue

Post by bny82 »

Hey guys, I have a 1991 EJ22 NA auto 2wd.
When it sits over night It will crank but won't start.
It will start eventually if you hold the key on start for 2 mins or so, then it will run on 2 cylinders untill you can rev it clean then its all good for the day. we've recently had some dodgy fuel that hade some water in it, I was wondering if that may have damaged the seals in the injectors. It stinks of fuel and blows smoke untill it clears itself up Sounds flooded to me what you guys think?
Cheers

I'd probably recommend replacing the coolant temp sensor.
