MSD DIS-2 Plus vs MSD Digital DIS-2
Looking at the ignition now and I'm wondering if there are significant differences between the MSD DIS-2 Plus (the red one) and the MSD Digital DIS-2 (the purple one)? I assume both would work with our engines? Cheers!
Not sure what the difference is between the two units. I haven't looked at them in a while. I'm running a DIS-2.....red one.

What sort of improvement did you notice with the DIS-2? Smoother running, mileage, or ?

91 Black SS 5spd. Edm lights, wrx gauges in dash, 45 degree airbox, cryoed drilled and slotted brakes. Invidia divorced downpipe with custom stainless exhaust. To be installed, aluminum a-arms, manual belts, awic.
It's been so long since I installed it, it's hard to say for sure, but it seemed to run smoother, and think mileage might have been affected, but again, it's been so long (summer of 2002) I don't recall the specifics.jefferson wrote:What sort of improvement did you notice with the DIS-2?
