Brand new 4-pots

Post by BAC5.2 »

I've got a set of brand new 06WRX red 4-pots.

I bolted one to the knuckle, saw they didn't clear my wheels, and took it off.

These have never been filled with fluid. Literally brand new.

They've got the calipers, pads, clips, all that. You just need WRX sized rotors (294x24mm) and your all set.

I'd like to get $650 shipped.

Super nice brakes. I just downgraded, so I'm done messing with brakes on my slow, heavy car for a while ;)

12.3" Legacy GT to 11.4" WRX.

Slow cars don't need such big brakes. Suspension doesn't like it and I have to haul 'em around.

Better pedal feel too, with the smaller caliper.

Ahh, so you already have the requisite rotors for these 4-pots!

I wish the 12.3" LGT brakes would fit under my wheels :(

That may be, but again, my car is slow, so these will work out just fine. I liked the large brakes under my P1s, but they're also gone, and the BBS look fine with the smaller ones.

You're running 16s?

Yea, the standard 5-spoke wheels on the S-trim SF Forester.

I actually wish I had a set of 15" wheels that would clear the 294mm WRX brakes.

15" 6 spoke SS / OB rims will clear the WRX brakes after a little caliper grinding.

Of course 15" rally rims would clear 4 pots.
