Trip over the pond

Post by Legacy777 »

I'll be leaving tomorrow to go to Italy for a week. There's a technical meeting I'm attending. I may have a day or so to wander around, but we'll see how things go. I'm taking Air France and transfering in Paris to Florence.

Not sure if I'll see any Subes, but I'll try and snap some photos. A friend of mine at GE is going as well. I think we may take a train to Venice on Sunday.

I expect all of you to do your part to lower gas prices while I'm gone :P

Woah, right on! That sounds like it should be a pretty good trip. I've heard lots of good things about those areas.

Take lots of pictures and have lots of fun, outside the technical meeting - though sometimes they're pretty cool.

Safe travels Josh.

I was in Amsterdam for almost two weeks in early April and I saw exactly three Subarus, and I was looking everywhere.

Should be a fun trip, but the currency rate is murder.

Florence? There a palace garden on a hill above the Arno that's an awesome view of the city. Walk up there on nice day...

Also the cathedral there is amazing. I think you can get up on the roof...but might be mixing up with Milan.

Enjoy!

Yeah should be a good time.

The US dollar is tanking, so yeah, the exchange rate is horrible.
