2.5 rod length vs 2.2 rod length
Does anyone have any numbers on the difference in the connecting rod length? I'm seeing some float around but they seem the same, but I don't think the are. I can't seem to figure out which ones are center to center and which are end to end.

To my knowledge all rods are measured center to center.
2.5 Rods are longer than 1.8/2.0/2.2 rods.
The exeption might be 2.5 STI rods. I've heard they are the same as 1.8/2.0/2.2 rods. Doug or Matt will be the men to say for sure.

So how do you measure center to center?
You take some calipers, measure inside to inside, then add 1/2 the diameter of the crank and 1/2 the diameter of the wrist pin.

The EJ25 rods that are 131.6mm are the phase 1 blocks (a majority of which had DOHC heads). The phase 2 blocks are 131.25 I think.
