parts for sale (wheels, brakes, ICE)

Post by John Drivesabox »

I have several parts laying around and am trying to pick up a '91 SS but need to offset the cost somewhat. What I can think of right now... will update as I can check.

Wheels
- 1 set of SS wheels, paint is chipping and could use a sandblast/refinish. However, they are straight and true. Mounted under BRAND NEW BFG triple tread all season tires. $200 obo

- 1 set of rashed 00-01 2.5RS wheels. In good condition, but have curbing on pretty much all wheels. $180 obo

Brakes
- 1 (I know, why 1?) DBA 4000 series slotted rotor (P/N DBA 4648SL), so its a lefty. BRAND NEW, NEVER MOUNTED. $85 obo (the other can be had on racepages.com for I think $139 obo
- SS pads, used but lots of meat left. $10 obo

Rear hubs, brake lines and calipers from a 2000 LGT. Good for a drum swap, only traded out because I upgraded to '06 wrx rears.
$200 obo

Stereo parts
- I have amps (big and small, new and used.
1 Kicker 4 channel (brand new)
1 MTX 2 channel (older)
some others, like I said, I'll look up the #'s when I get home, but if you are looking for something in particular, ask and I'll get back to you.

- Speakers
all brand new, some 4 1/2", some plates, and I think a set of 5 1/4. Again, if I have yet to update this and you're looking for something, just ask.

- 1 new Autoloc shaved door kit. Not 100% complete, but it's got the poppers and relays and wiring and brain. SOLD

I know there's more parts I have. I'll update this as stuff crawls out the woodworks. And if there's anything you need just ask, it can't hurt. I'm a packrat w/ OCD and I really need to help my pocketbook pick up this car. Also, I'm accepting donations

And if you're looking for a RHD EJ20G Impreza, check my other ad and make an offer. ;-)

do you mean Goodyear triple tread tires? I work at a tire shop (that shall remain nameless because I hate some of the company policies) and I've never heard of a BFG tire like that...

Maybe, I only had them on a car for like 2 days. They've been packed up and I barely look at them since, I'll double check.

For everyone waiting on pics of the RS wheels, I'll take them at first opportunity, but I'm heavy at work right now and tend to fall asleep upon hitting the driveway.

I am interested in the wheels... either set would be ok for me, but I have no use for triple treads... (not that they are bad tires, but I don't really want that tire for my car) so probably more interest in the RS rims, assuming the rash isn't too bad (or contagious)

Yes, they are goodyear triple treads, thanks for the heads up.

The RS wheels have no contagious rash, just a few long and difficult looking curb runs. What I usually do for wheels is tear them down to bare metal (sand or sandblast, whichever works best for your budget and resources. Then I use JB weld to fill any rash or scratches. When it cures I sand it down to shape and paint 'em up.
