WTB 97-99 Legacy Outback tranny 5 speed

Post by mellow65 »

Looking to get a 5 speed tranny out of a 97-99 Outback. yes I know other years will work, but I am looking for a specific gear ratios that only the outbacks had.

Here are the three tranny codes that should be stamped on the tranny.

1997 TY752VACCA
1998 TY752V2DCA
1999 TY754VCACB

lower miles the better, no grinds or weird noises please. closer to portland the better

look may have it. will check for the SN# to see if it is one of these. was told that it is a 4:10 ratio.

but that was from same person who said motor is good, needs sensor or tps. was the motor; only drove 45 miles before it died.

looking to sale what ever possible.

will post when I know more.

be well. bepa

oh shipping from nyc. ups ground is the lowest from what I have found out.

THE RATIOS ARE EITHER 3:90 0R 4:10. if it were an SVX you could 3.545:1

almost all the tranys can go from one model to another and long periods of time in production.

but will check Sn# to be sure.

be well, bepa
