We were looking for something BIG for the Welfare Racer & ended up getting another GT45R (over budget - 4.25" compressor inlet / 3" outlet), but we have used 18wheeler turbos on 1.1l Rotary engines with excellent results.
With this infusion of $ we expect to improve 1/4 mile times from 9.97 - 9.3-9.5s.
The last incomplete pass (no 4th gear 9.98 et) made had a 6.222s 1/8th mile et @ 108MPH which should have translated to a 9.7ish pass.
The non-ghetto 1.3l twin of the Welfare Racer makes 30psi free revving a GT45R @ a little less than 1/2 throttle.
If this car does not run 8's off the bat with the potential for LOW 8's it will get crushed...
Is the inlet of that turbo about 4" (looks almost the same size as the strut top) & the outlet 3" ?

If I was turbocharging a 572 Chevy or something, it might work, but not for 2.2 Subaru applications.
Did you try throwing some clamps on your turbo piping? I think your boost leaks are the reason it won't work on the car
I hope that winky is to denote the fact that I simply set the turbo in the engine compartment and took the pic...if you look really hard you can see the VF39...

Well then that's the problem, your plumbing for a biturbo setup is all wrong .
