A 1994 GT? Do you mean Touring Wagon? Or is it a BD wagon? Is it naturally aspirated or is it the factory turbo Touring Wagon?
Either way, try out the search function and get back to us. I'd rather answer questions you have after you search rather than delving into all the in's, out's, and what-have-you's of adding or changing a turbo charger and all the supporting modifications that go along with it.
No hard feelings. Its just that this topic gets beaten to death daily.

2.2 leggies never had a GT badge, "GT" didn't enter the arena until the next generation
man, putting a turbo on there seems like it would be more expensive than buying an SS or Turbo wagon, and waaayhayhay more of a PITA

I'm pretty sure they did. There was a 1994 Legacy GT Wagon.

yes they did make one dammit!
anyways,
are you wanting to turbo the N/A motor?
Thats not a great idea, you'd be better to do a full ej22t swap, the non-turbo blocks arent as strong and thus cant hold as much boost
so your gonna need for that:
turbo block (closed deck ej22t)
turbo heads, unless you, for some reason want to figure another way to run oil lines
intake mani
turbo crossmember
up pipe
down pipe
turbo, duh
your going to need to run coolant lines to the turbo so either a turbo radiator and coolant resevior or reseach how to bypass that system, its on here somewhere
your going to want a turbo ECU, i believe you can add some wires for extra sensors or just get a full wiring harness
um, yeah, theres a lot of shit to get
Oh and an intake system.
You can do it, or just buy a Touring Wagon!
haha
and I'm guessing you've been talking to Zach havent you? (He told me someone with a 94GT was wanting to turbo it!)

hey thanx man that is some great advice. more than i have got anywhere else. yeh i talked to him the other night. he gave me some good advice to. Now i just need to find all this stuff. do you know how much i should pay for the motor and the turbo. because those seem to be the things that are going to cost the most. But i kinda want to turbo my motor because it only have 10000 miles on it. But you guys probably know more than me.
The problem with NA motors, although newer, is that it isnt as strong.
The Turbo motors are "closed deck", check out the legacy central main page Library for more info on that.
Also, it has higher compression, which is bad for turbo-ing, that can cause detonation, which in turn can destroy a motor.
As for a turbo... if you only want a stock vf11, you can find one for like $50.
I'm not sure how much the motor will cost for a full swap setup... you might check with Blackbart, hes a vendor and could give you an idea on that.

I was hesitant to say something definitively, and this is why. I concede! I had no idea! I was soooo wrong!asc_up wrote:I'm pretty sure they did. There was a 1994 Legacy GT Wagon.

I believe thewatts10 is running a N/A 2.2l engine in his SS on a turbo ECU/injectors.
I'm sure this high compression low boost set-up is as quick or quicker than a low comp (ej22t) mid boost (15ish psi) vf-11 set-up.
Blackbart will be your source for a turbo ECU/injectors/.....
I turbo'd my 2.2 OBS (stock high comp phase II longblock) in '04 its running stronger than ever & will romp my SS's ass (even with the 16g) with just a little bit of boost.

And what do you mean Y-Pipe??
Like the exhaust headers??
Yeah, you'll need to get turbo ones, or ones from a WRX will work. And you need the uppipe.

You could make custom up & down pipes to make the turbo fit on a NA "y" pipe - I did this on the OBS-T (it is a single port head so I had no choice).
If you do make sure the up-pipe material is not just some BS muffler tubing because that will crack quickly - I used 1/8" thick walled S-Steel tubing to make the up-pipe & it is still in one piece after 4 years & about 43,000 miles of use...
I'd say use the OEM parts as you'll be able to bolt-on up-grade replacement parts, but you may need a turbo water-pump to clear the e-manifold (I know 2.5 RSs do) & have everything fit.
Note: E-bay turbo headers & d-pipes are super cheap & may be one way to get started on a project like this.
