Nooo....

You know if you get rid of your SS you are going to end up regretting it. I'm all about getting an Audi, but only in addition to your Subaru.

All that aside, I wish you best in the sale and that's an extremely fair price for your car.

Everyone I've ever known who's owned an Audi (five cars by four people) regretted it and drive something else now.

More info for the peoples though, if you're really trying to get interest in selling it.

It's just a phase he is going thru. He won't sell it. Let the MB satisfy your German desires.

A few years ago I owned a ratty ole '92 SS. Needed some work so I sold it.

I stayed in touch with the kid who bought it, and he ended up trading it in on an Audi. Shortly thereafter he traded in his Audi for a BMW and had nothing but bad things to say about the Audi... last I heard, he's looking for another SS.

Yeah...I am pretty reluctant to sell it...but the siren song of the UrS4 is calling my name...

20valve turbo and a strong gearbox sounds like a lot of fun...

I should probably just do what Skid said...and keep the SS and get an Audi later...

And no Artic Assassin...I actually haven't ever dynoed the car...although that may change this weekend

RS6s got pretty cheap vs. what they cost new - I'd Love one (I had a '01 A6 in '03 - very comfy) but am afraid of the repair/maintenance costs + I like 1 payment cars....

Good Luck on your sale / Audi search.

Right now, I have my eyes on an 85 4000 S quattro with a BUILT 10vt in it...

My old roommate had an '84 4000 S. We worked at Willamette Pass in Oregon and traveled everyday from Eugene up to work, that car was bad ass. Our record pass one day on the way up was 42 cars and 3 buses in one shot on HWY 58, on that straight stretch coming out of Oakridge. It was a bit scary but fun too. Loved that car.

You would have to drive the 4000 to understand why.
