SUBARU LEGACY POWER STEERING PUMP

hi guy i have a question concerning the
1994 SUBARU LEGACY POWER STEERING PUMP
i found my steering hard to be turn and i am wondering if i can get another pump that would make it more easy.
my liquid are all good just would like it to be more easy to turn.

any suggestion or option

i dint realy check the belt since it just as been change 40000km ago and its seem ok from what hayes book say

Did you check the belt tension? Tire pressure?

yes tire are fine but for the belt am going to check tomorrow as its said to the legacy owner book should be 9mm to 11mm for used belt so i am going to what else could it be.

a more powerfull pump wont help?

You might have a clog somewhere. Maybe one of the passages in the pump, maybe one of the lines running to the pump, maybe somewhere in the rack.

Did this happen recently, or has it always been like that?
