Did you ever get that Firefly intercoller to work properly onthe Legacy?

Subject: [BC-BFLegacyWorks] Firefly Intercooler on Legacy

My '91 Turbo 2.2 Legacy needed an intercooler. I needed something
affordable... the Firefly intercooler fit under the hood right off
the turbo. My plumbing was solid and air tight. Peformance decreased!
Max 6 psi on the boost guage with this thing installed. I had set my
manual boost controller for 11 psi. Any advice? I tested the unit for
leaks prior to installing and tested flow... seemed OK????

(By the way these units run 7-8 psi on the stock firefly)

No, I didn't get the intercooler to work. I am stil confused. I did
retest for leaks - nothing... I have removed the cooler until I
solve this mystery! Any suggestions?

By the way - I believe the Turbo Sprint or Firefly was only mage
available to the Canadian market in North America.

The Sprint turbo was made for the USA for a very brief amount of time, 2 or
3 years i think, right before the Geo Metro came out. But yes, the firefly
was only in canada.
