2.2 Turbo Crankshaft part number...

Post by drewriviera »

My Subaru dealership in town has lied to me on several occasions....haha They say that my crank is no longer being made. I need the part number and also need to know whether or not they still sell a crankshaft, main bearings and rod bearings for my 91 SS. I know the crank has to be a forged one? Can't be the same as the n/a motor right?
Thanks guys

It's the same as the n/a motor.
EJ22 n/a installed in 1984 Volkswagen Transporter/Vanagon/Bulli
EJ22 motor with blown head-gasket undergoing rebuild to stock specifications

Between the parts book & subaru genuineparts website you'll be able to tell what parts you need, what part #'s have been superceeded, and what are "reasonable" prices the local dealership is trying to sell.
