90-94 FWD N/A Leggy muffler for sale

Post by jp233 »

This came off a 93 FWD N/A wagon. from what I could tell online, the FWD and AWD exhaust are different (at least, replacement parts from places like Advance are different part numbers, so I assume the pipes are different due to the rear diff). I looked at my AWD wagon and they looked pretty similar, but it was hard to tell due to the sway bar and diff and stuff in the way. BUT if you know this would fit an AWD car go ahead, I just dont know it for sure so I dont want to advertise it like that.

This is a 3A Racing muffler w/ dual chrome tips that are square-ish. I had it welded onto the stock pipe years ago before I sold the car. Now I have the car back and it is just too loud for me. I have hearing damage from all the other crap so far in life (please take care of your ears folks), and can't put up with the sound for a commuter car. It sounds great up top, on the gas hard. Probably wouldn't be so bad but the AC is broken in this car so I have to use manual AC (open windows), which makes it worse. I need to be able to talk on the phone in the car a lot too due to the commute.

This would be great for someone with a rotted exhaust who wants a cheap alternative rather than a pricey full 2" or 3" exhaust. It is in pretty good condition overall, the flange is good, comes with all 3 rubber hangars. I can get you dimensions if you want but it is much smaller than the stock muffler overall, but looks great on a 90-94 Legacy. It even fit on this car with a hitch. It doesnt stick out too far, is mostly stealth, but the sound is unmistakably Subaru when you get on the go-pedal.

it looks good I cleaned it up, will hit it with Mother's before I ship.

Anyways, I can get a box and weigh it and stuff, what do y'all think? $50 ?

here are some pics, on and off the car.
