Help me pick out the correct tap for my IAT sensor

Post by Legacy777 »

I need to install an IAT sensor when I do my link install. I'm going to do it right after the throttle body on the throat of the intake manifold on the driver's side.

The info from the site I bought it says the thread size is: 3/8" - 18 NPTF

Here's the site
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/produc ... cts_id/400

So I did a little searching and found this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006NEX2C?smi ... nkCode=asn

But I don't know if the flute size is correct

Also found this link

It lists a whole bunch. it mentions 3/8-18" NPT and 3/8-18" NPTF

If my sensor is NPTF do I need a tap that is NPT...or just NPTF.

Any help on making sure I get the right tap would be appreciated. Also if you have any other sources/suggestions on places to get a tap, that'd be great.

Thanks
Josh
