remember to take a hat and sunglasses.

Florida sunshine burns us North Westerners right through the clouds (when there are clouds).

Went for a week with a friend of mine and got lobsterized.

It's extremely fucking hot down here.

No... you don't understand. It's hotter than the flames of hell down here.

Wear light clothing and drink plenty of fluids.

I don't have to tell you about sunscreen right?

Also bring mosquito repellent. Lots of it. Enough to practically take a bath in it. Even then, you're still gonna get eaten alive.

If you're gonna go to the beach, go in the early morning or late evening. Less people and cooler.

I went to St. Augustine last weekend (lived in FL all my life and had never been there :?), and I went swimming in the ocean at like 8am Sunday morning. It was fantastic.

BTW... to all.... I'm in Palm Springs CALIFORNIA...

NOT Palm Beach FLORIDA

And Horizon Air (Alaska Airs sister company) lost my luggage... so I have one pair of long JEANS.... one button up white short sleeved shirt and flip flops....

It is hot, but with NO humidity so its not too bad... unless you decided to walk back into the main town part which you discover is actually about 5 miles from the resort....

oOoOops...

And I havent been eaten alive by mosquitos.... well, I am in the middle of the Dessert....

Oh and its gorgeous down here!!!!

This is soooooooo much cooler than being in Washington!!!! Yeahya!

Stupid California... copying us all the time.

However, I've never been to the Orange County in California, but I imagine it's way better than the Orange County that I live in.

Take heart, Mike - California can imitate all they want, but they will NEVER match the level of stupidity that is concentrated in Florida.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
