Grocery Store

Post by Legacy777 »

It's amazing how one little trip to the fucking grocery store can change your whole mood for the evening......and I'm not even really sure why. There were a few things they were out of...still...but other then the copious amounts of people it was pretty standard. But this time I just came home with a fucking pissy ass attitude.....

I always get one of those when I have to go out into the public monkey house. Nothing like the pungent stench of general human stupidity to put me in a disgusted mood wishing for the end of civilization. After all, I think I'd rather eat my neighbors than deal with the greater inconvenience of the grocery store. I've got this weird African bbq sauce I think might go well with human.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

i too hate going grocery shopping anymore.

the high price of everything is just part of it.

the other is how rude and bad mannered people there are.

not the workers but the shoppers.

Interestingly enough, there was a show on History channel this evening about Oracles and the end of the world occuring on Dec, 21 2012. How the Mayian calendar ends, and this chinese book or something says similar....

Whatever....bring it.

wow aren't we a bunch of misanthropes lately?

I still ride kick around on shopping carts through the aisles and generally ignore the peons who work in supermarkets. The few people to make nice to are the butchers because they can probably cut you a nice thick steak or fat slab of brisket on occasion. I support my local fish monger and cheese shops though, if I'm going to pay out my ass it isn't going to be to some regional or national chain.

I have that same attitude just about every time I leave the grocery store.

My thing is, NOTHING pisses me off more than the pussies that wipe down the shopping cart with a sterilizing wipe before touching the handle. Aside from the fact that this kinda stuff is the very reason we have the weakest immune systems in human history... I just seriously want to ask one of those people who the fuck they think they are and then just disembowel them or something.

Being clean is one thing, being a douchebag is another.

People like that deserve to die, and there's nothing I can do to tell myself otherwise.

I still ride the carts too. And link huge cart drifts around the corners of aisles. I'm pretty much the drift champion at my local Winco.

Josh man, I feel for you as I've been there plenty of times before. I usually find what did me in was the long day at work where I can't controll all the crap that's happening and then a few simple things that should be a given aren't and bam, there went the night. People... the other morningI had some douche pass on the right in the bicycle lane on his sport bike, I was doing 42 in a 35, but the kicker is that we were in a straight passing zone with nobody coming at us. I honked at him and he gave the bird. Irritated me all day long. People suck.

On a lighter side, this thread has had one the highes quotes per thread quotiant I've read in a while.

I'd also like to point out that, including me, 3 out of 7 of us still ride and drift the shopping carts. Who says you have to grow up.

Drifting shopping carts is fun. I still do it. However maybe that's what contributed to pissing me off last night. The shopping cart I had was all fucked up, the damn thing wouldn't steer right, and when I stopped it seemed to jump back. It was a piece of shit.

I got into a better mood as I got ready for bed and was thinking about working on the car....
