Well I checked the CARS site and here are some highlights:
34 mm resricter for OPEN class
32 mm restrictor for Production
Catalytic converter is MANDITORY for cars sold with one
No roof vents for production
And you can't use LEADED race fuel no more!
Never thought to see what Group N fall under Mark...do you have to go with
32 mm too?
This should even the playing feild considerably because I think our car is
boost limited, so the air restricter won't effect us much at all. Same
thing with the leaded race fuel, a lot of cars depend on that stuff for
their power.
That's all that caught my eye so far.

CARS rules for 2002
Right!
I was happy about this, it means P4 and N4 have the same restrictor. This
also means a N4 Legacy can be as powerful and same weight as a 2002 Impreza
WRX in N4. We will see if I can keep up to Pat. I still have my Cat in. The
cat becomes manditory in June, just after Rocky Mountain and Bighorn rally.

CARS rules for 2002
Hey Mark,
Any idea on the weight of your car vs the WRX?
I was under the assumption that the Legacies were far heavier than the new
WRX's. Kind of interesting to note....If you have the same weight, and the
same power, it should make for an interesting battle!
I can't wait to see the time difference that EJ20T has over our car.
Come to think of it, I should get the race weight of our car as well
someday!

FIA is 1,230 kg (2742 lbs). Acoording to Subaru Canada, the new WRX weighs
in at 1390 kg (3099lbs!!)
