it seems that the syncros on my 90 legacy are gone because it grinds when ever i shfit and also the throwout bearing seems to be gone as it makes quite a racket when I push the clutch in, so i have a new clutch kit on order, and I have a 92 legacy that is a parts car, so and I want to just swap the tranny out, so I was wondering if I can pull the motor and tranny in one piece, I am not fond of the idea of doing it under the car , I've pulled the motor before in less then a hr, but I was wondering if I can take them both out together? also do i need to worry about any gear ratio difference between the 2 cars and if so how do I figure what is what?

Yes you can pull them and install them in one piece IF you have a leveler. Without it you will need three people to get it back in without damaging something on the car.
I removed an EJ25D + 5MT out of an RS without one and it sucked. I then installed an 05STI+5MT back into the car with the leveler and it was a breeze!

IMHO, its not worth the hassle and possible risk of pulling both together, unless you have a lift and can drop them both from underneath.
The motor comes out super easy, and you are already halfway there. What's left? Driveshaft and axles? You have to get under the car anyways.

oh i know the motor pulls out easy I already did it once on my car and once on the parts car. but I just as soon lift it all out together and not mess with those trans-engine bolts I hate them buggers, and then it's a pain getting everything to line up, with the trans and the motor mounts kinda a pain so if I can do it all on the ground I rather do that. I have a engine puller with a leveler thingy on it...
