Yeah, well... I don't know about rare because I have one exactly like it.

But if it really is "rust free," then yes, it is EXTREMELY rare! For a 91 Legacy, anyway.

  Damn, what are the CHANCES??? SO DO I!!!

It really does look nice and clean, tho. BONE stock. Wrap it up and wait another 10 years, then take it to Barrett-Jackson and retire!

i've seen this guy trying to advertise this car for about two years or so. the price has dropped about $1500 or so since then. just wait another year, and it will be about right.

as far as i'm concerned, my wagon was imported from japan...........the VIN starts w/ "J", right? nothing special, i think. unless the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car, I don't care.

I asked:

Hello,

1 of 15 imported? Where'd you get that info?

No doubt this is a coveted Subie - '91 w/the 5-speed and turbo.

Good luck w/the sale,
Td
Per owner:

Hello...

I called Japan and they did the research at FHI... the maker of Subaru.

They did the research for me over there and that is what they came up with for the USA importation.

More have been made for the world market...ie right hand drive etc... and also in Australia they are called Liberty instead of Sport Sedan.

The color black mica makes it also rare with the black and the cherry ships impregnated in the paint. I believe the 25th year anniversary was gold with cherry specs too.

The buyer will get all the documentation as well as the email research......

Thank you for the Kudos....

There's at least 2 other threads about this tool. He pops up on here as a joke about every year or so. This ad isn't as funny as his last one that also pointlessly brags about his "McLaren" (with picture of kitcar included).
