Something to throw out to the list. Is there anyone out there with
experiences with engine block heaters for the subies or at least have one in
their car? I am looking to put a block heater in my 90 NA cause my car is
warm blooded, knocks when its cold and we get plenty of that here even with
synthetic, plus I just like to pamper my baby. I found the Subaru OEM ones
but they are for the 2.5 and I believe the WRX 2.0. Will this fit the 2.2?
Are they oil or coolant heater? Any help would be great. Thanks, john

Engine Block Heater
Well, I went to the Subaru dealership and talked to one of the mechanics and
he said that they will fit the 2.2 so I picked one up. I will install it
tomorrow, waiting on a new thermostat to come in, and I will post how it
goes and if it's worth the $24.00 I paid for it.

Engine Block Heater
Jason,
It's Subaru part # A0910AS000 and it is the freeze plug replacement
type (anti-freeze heater). It does come with installation instructions that
are pretty good. I believe that www.subaruparts.com has them for $24.34
plus shipping. Maybe I will snap a few pictures and post them with a write
up if anyone is interested and at least to have it in the archives.
