I recently got some jdm aluminum a-arms and they have bearings where there is usually rubber bushings. The bearings are shot and I want to replace them, but I can't see how they come out. these are on the rear most mounting point of the arms where there are 2 bolts that attach the mount to the body. The bearings are run of the mill ball bearings and they are doubled up. Has anyone got any experience with these.

91 Black SS 5spd. Edm lights, wrx gauges in dash, 45 degree airbox, cryoed drilled and slotted brakes. Invidia divorced downpipe with custom stainless exhaust. To be installed, aluminum a-arms, manual belts, awic.
Wow, I've never seen steel bearings in there... the ride must have been bone shattering.
You can replace them with an anti-lift kit (ALK) from Whiteline or Perrin, a few others make them... or find someone who's recently installed an ALK and pick up their stock bushings if you want to retain the comfort level. The ride with ALKs is a bit harsh, tho WL makes a "comfort" version that I have in my car that is tolerable on bad NY streets, just takes a bit of getting used to.
