Cruise Not working

Post by Buffman »

After a simple search, I've been able to conclude, the relay kicks on for the main cruise switch. I also hear the relay click for the switch on the steering wheel. Howver No cruise. Any diagnostics for the cruise system to check for operation? Don't see any light on the instrument cluster come on (unless there isn't one) for cruise either.

Hmmmmm. Have you checked everything under the hood? Check the cable coming from the actuator to the throttle, and the vacuum lines between the actuator and the pump.

guess I just wasn't using the little switch right. Got the thing to work today :)

Got a CEL now, I gotta figure out where it came from. Didn't come on until I drove the car up the rhino ramps today. was on the few times I started it. Was off when I started it and moved it off the ramps. Then came back on..

Yeah check the ECU for codes....it's probably not related to the cruise.
