Gonna Do a brake fluid flush. Got some nice Casteroil Synthetic GT/LMA. Keeping in mind that until about 2 years ago my car of choice was 60s and 70s MoPars (Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge) Ive never messed with the breaks on a car with ABS so I figured Id better drop a line to the experts and make sure there wasnt something that needed to be done beyond the standard drain/fill/bleed process.
Not to be paranoid, but hate to miss something and get a surprise on the freeway.
Thanks in advance.

My suggestions: Extra fluid and 2 patient people to bleed the system. Although you have already bought the fluid I'd suggest getting a color different from whats in the system now so you can identify when the new fluid is really starting to take over. Also suck all the old fluid out with a mechanic's sucker tool, you can get them at Kragens, Autozone, or wherever for like $2.
Bleed the brakes in this order(straight from the FSM):
1. Right Front
2. Left Rear
3. Left Front
4. Right Rear
You can try to bleed the ABS unit to, I never have.

You know what, after I bled my fluid I noticed this. Maybe this is my problem all along with the abs kicking in randomly when i hit the brakes and the abs light coming on alot.gtlegacy wrote:i had a bit of trouble with my abs

Is there a proccedure to bleed the abs where it turns on the pump or something?

You need to rebleed the brakes in the order mentioned above. I suggest slowly but firmly pressing the brake pedal about 10-15 times, hold it, and have the other person open the bleed screw, and then close it when the pedal is on the floor. Make sure not to lift the pedal until the bleed screw is closed.
Also, running the car to use the vacuum assist provides more pressure to force out any air. You'll need to jack up all four wheels on the car and make sure you're in a well ventilated area if you run the engine.
To bleed the ABS unit, Find an empty wet or gravel road and slam on the brakes.
