Transmission oil what kind

Post by jchipper »

I am going to be swaping out my 5 spd in my 90 legacy, and I know I will loose a bunch of fluid when I take it out, so what kind of fluid to I put back in and how much? and also going to change the clutch while I am at it, I got a clutch kit, but no grease I have heard you need to grease something or other? if so what kind of grease and where do you put it?

thanks a million guys!

The owner's manual has this information. Use a good GL5 rated oil with 75w90 viscosity.

You'll use just a little less then 4 qts.
