td04 coolant banjo washer

Post by flatoutfred »

Ok, so I just bought a td04. I was removing the coolant banjo from the turbo and I've noticed that one of the washer is a bit damaged.
These washers don't seem to be usual ones. What kind of washer should I use and where can I find them?

Thanks
Legacy turbo, desnorkled, intercooled, TD04, Borla catback, urethane mounts, wrx rear brakes.

They are copper washers. I believe so...

You'll want to stick with copper gaskets. You can get new ones from any local auto parts store. While its nice to have ones that fit perfect it's not totally necessary. The pressure from the banjo bolt is enough to make a less than perfect fitting banjo bolt washer/gasket seal nicely.

If all else fails call Subaru and get new ones from them if you have any doubts about the fitment of aftermarket gaskets. They should be around $3.00 each.
