This was my first car.

70 1/2 camaro RS/SS. I wasn't good in the snow especially on bald 17in summer tires. painted it and it sits until i have money to work on it.

First car was a '80 Ford Fairmont, but by time I got it ready for inspection, the body rotted out on it & went to the scrap yard. Next was an '78 Mercury Monarch w/ 351 Windsor V8 swapped and Keystone Raider wheels (essentially Crager SS wheels). The frame rusted out shortly after and I picked up an '84 Cavalier dirt cheap until it was totalled from behind while waiting to turn into my parent's driveway. :(

not the actual car. but same model. Its a 1974 Mazda 808 sports coupe. My father bought me one for my 16th birthday. Jerked the motor and trans. dismantled the interior and gave it to me for my 16th birthday. Took me 6 months of every other weekends to put it back together.

Was she alright? Any details on what hit her at what speed, never see a legacy hit up like that.

Hit by a 2000 or so expedition towing a 20 foot boat at 45 miles an hour. (she was doing around 30-40 when hit) she walked out with a scratch on her arm, but otherwise all good. It pushed the car about 20 feet, and she missed a large tree by about 5 feet. I've always said my car saved her life.

the motor cranked right up after. oh well. all four tires were still inflated and it was touching the ground at the point of impact. I couldnt find a junkyard that would pay me for the car, only 2 offered to take it away for free. (which is sadly what i had to do)

Thats weird usually you can get like $200-$300 easy just for scrap metal here. Maybe you would have been better off pulling the motor but owuld have probably been difficult.
