WTB: AC Belt Tensioner/Drive Pulley

Post by Buffman »

The little 4 groove pulley for the AC. Need one with a good bearing in it. Don't need the entire assembly just the pulley assembly.

It it just has a bad bearing, it is pretty easy to put a new bearing in it and the car would be back on the road.

It will be on the old bearing you take out, such as 6203, 6003, etc. The number will be on the rubber seal.

there's no rubber seal on this bearing. Not sure if you've ever look at the bearing assembly on it, but at least on this pulley it's an exposed bearing. Maybe at one time it was sealed, but all the balls (well what's left) are exposed and rusted in place..

The rubber seal on the back side will also have the number on it. I have taken several apart. I don't know why your front seal is gone other than when the bearing destroyed itself it took out the seal. You should also have a shield in front of the bearing held on with a circlip. Was it gone also?

snap ring is still there. I'll have to get it out and see if the bearing can be removed.

Lol bearing had no recognizable markings on it. Did get the size . 35mm OD, 15mm ID, and 11mm Thickness. Got one ordered from MSC should be here shortly. Surprisingly it came apart pretty easily with a little force.

got my pulley from gt2.5turbo on thursday. Got a replacement bearing for the other pulley and it was back to normal. put the one I received on as it was pretty much rust free. Just have to do a leak test on the Ac system then fill er up...
