Lets see your Subaru Garages!!!!!
So i was thinking to myself, since i just moved into a house with a 2 1/2 car garage... stuff needs to go up on the walls... SUBARU stuff...
I love having a garage... i love being in it, i love pulling into it, its a place of frustration and triumph (not the comic insult dog). a place for raised voices, swearing, extreme emotions, and loud 80's rock.
When i need to vent, my garage is a place to go to get some tough bolt off and bust my knuckles open, and the anger just drains away with the blood.
I was curious what other peoples garages looked like... and if i was going to be the only one with so much crap on the walls, it'll look like my bedroom when i was 14 Ive even got a little couch with a 13" tv and a nintendo stocked with Rad Racer, and offroad, among other great games for people to play while i'm working
Enough of my rambling.... Lets see some Garages!!!!!!!

Having also recently moved, my garage isn't that organized just yet, but it's got great potential. And I have a plan.
I get to start with a 3 car garage.
The two car side is reserved for normal everyday stuff. The wife gets to park her car there also.
For me, the single car side was already walled off into a workshop type area with tons of storage and shelving. Even has countertop/workbench.
And what it looks like now in the midst of unpacking:
No worries though, making good progress and soon it will be all set up for rebuilds, parts restoration, prototype work, etc.
So your wondering where all the parts and maybe even the cars will go?
Here:
Moving hasn't spared the barn either. It's packed. Hopefully adding a few shelves and making use of the small mezzanine will get it in usable shape soon.
And finally the workspace:
It's not much now, but once I get some pavers or a concrete slab down it will be a great spot to do the actual grunt work. Eventually I'll enclose it if need be.
In the long run, I've got tons of space for a large, dedicated, multi-car shop. Most likely 5 years away or so.
So, whatcha think?

Here's mine:
It's a Deep 2.5 car, but it's got a lot of stuff in the back. The tool bench, Air compressor, welder and Parts storage are on the wall that you can't see in this pic. Insulation starts this week and I need to get a new ignitor for the furnace before it gets too much colder.
Those are my 2 T-legs and there's another 2 Subies outside awaiting thier turn

/\ Not the biggest deal with the super-short EJ crank. They're hard enough not to sag if stored laying down. I've heard rumors about such things before, also, but myself being into Supras, I've heard about people storing their cranks laying down with no ill effects.
just my .02

(oh, and I'd show you my garage, but it's a total disaster. It's a shared garage I rent with 2 buddies and my brother. 48'x48' brick building with my Supra torn down to a shell and all the related parts in one corner, my buddy's 91 Eclipse and 90 Mighty Max in another corner both in the same state, another buddy's 05 SRT4 in there with the engine pulled and partially disassembled, my brother's 88 rx-7 which is complete, but not a runner, my 94 Mi Legacy in the front waiting to be registered for winter use, and a few motorcycles. My 06 RC51, my GF's 08 Ninja 250, and my brother's 94 Bandit 400.
yeah, it's a mess.)

Some may be wondering why I haven't had updates to the DOHC heads thread lately. I sort of worked myself into a corner.
I found myself trying to work in this:
Took the weekend to correct the problem. Most of the work was done on the "wife's side", but I did find some time to make a dent on the 'real side'.
By relocating the 'household' type of stuff to the main garage I was able to keep this side as mostly Subaru.
And because no post like this is ever complete without a bit of strutting ones stuff:
I may not be Doug or Matt, but I'm working on it.
