Silicone Radiator Hoses

Post by kimokalihi »

Has anyone bought these before?

It's supposed to be for a 00-07 WRX. Are the hoses the same for a 91 EJ22T car with a 95 EJ20 JDM motor? Probably not. I need new hoses and I'm just wondering if I should buy regular rubber hoses from autozone for $33 for upper and lower hoses or buy this silicone hose kit off ebay.

if you just want to replace the upper and lower rad hoses, do that.

if you want to replace all the coolant hoses on your engine, get the kit. it looks like the silicone lines replace the hard lines for the coolant, so it would be a pain to swap all the hoses in the kit if the motor is in the car.

The motor is on the engine stand now. I'd like to replace them all if I can. They're pretty nasty looking/feeling. Actually I think almost all of them have been cut too.

But the question is. Are the hoses going to be the same on a 00-07 USDM WRX and a Subaru Legacy SS with a JDM EJ20 motor?
