I have first right of refusal on a 93 maroon turbo sedan with 153k miles, automatic tranny and perfect interior. It has been lightly hit in the front, so hood, fenders, grill, radiator etc are shot, all doors are perfect. I have known this car since it was new and it has had a way too cushy life. Unlike me, these folks have never forded streams, pulled shrubs, buried the speedometer, raced every riceboy in town, run rally courses, sunk the car to the axles, modified its performance, caught air or anything remotely fun. Let me know if you are interested in any parts. Just what I need, another junker in the yard just a few months after I got rid of all four of my 84 Dodge (Mitsubishi) Colt Turbo hatchbacks..

Hey Bill,
When I start talking about a wishlist I always forget this one
wishlist additions;
Sunroorf Motor
Sunroof Wind Deflector Assembly
Then the tricky one;
The little guide rails that have little tabs in a slot that push on the sunroof wind deflector legs which causes the wind deflector to close when the sunroof closes. One of my tabs broke right at the screw hole. I superglued and washered it and it was ok for a while. Then something else on all that sliding shit broke, and I had to start closing the wind deflector by hand so it wouldn't get caught by the sunroof. Then the sunroof quit to the point where pounding no longer worked. I closed it with the allan wrench and haven't opened it in about a year. All it does is leak. The strange shit about all this is the doggone wind deflector angle is such that it makes more wind noise than probably if it wasn't there at all, but certainly more noise than a lower angle. Am I the only one that has noticed this?

Bill,
I have a 91 Subaru Legacy with 277K miles on it. WHile the engine is good,
I need to replace the front seats. What shape are yours in after 153K
miles? What color would they be? Where do you live in relation to Northern
Virginia? How much are you asking for them?

My deflector retractor thingy was broken when i purchased the car,
and i usually just popped it up instead of opening it, but i read
someone's post about how much quieter it was without the deflector.
I removed it, and you know what? It's almost silent, but its
intended purposed does become apparent at low speeds with the windows
up. That "blowing over the mouth of a bottle" effect comes into
play, and you must crack a window to relieve it. I think it works
better without.
Mine also leaks, and i just haven't gotten around to removing all of
that stuff to unclog the drainage ports.

Hey guys,
I'm new to BC-BF and have a '92 Legacy turbo AT among
other things. I too have had to fix these sunroof
tabs on several occasions and I think I may have
finally fixed them for good. Both of mine eventually
broke and I tried super glue a few times with limited
success. Since there's hardly anything left of the
tabs, they would eventually break loose. The last
time I fixed them, I put deep grooves in the tabs with
a file and scored both surfaces real good before I
super glued them. They have held up for, probably,
over a year and a half now and I use the sunroof
often.
Now if I could just fix that damn leak.

OK, if it's a wagon, I need the rear driver side
speaker cover. I lost it in a move about three years
ago, and I haven't been able to find one since.
Again, only applicable if it's a wagon.

Hey Bill
Anyone asked for the fog lights yet? (if they are still serviceable
that is)
