Underboosting,now overboosting.

I have not touched anything regarding the turbo system and it looks stock from pictures I've compared it to.

When i first got it sometimes it would only boost to 6 psi,now I noticed once or twice that it has climbed to 11psi. This is worrying because I have yet to successfully purchase an intercooler.(anyone wanna sell me one and actually follow through?) I'm wondering what could be causing this,my geuss would be the wastegate is not functioning properly,but really I have no idea so I'll turn to the vast wealth of knowledge here for advice and ideas.

You might want to check to see if the restrictor is in the line from the boost control solenoid. What I have read the boost is all over the place without it.

I also have a Saab intercooler I would for sure ship out to you. $35 shipped.

Ok.at the risk of sounding dumb,heheh,how do I check that?

As for the intercooler,if you're cool with me paying by postal money order and can wait a few days sure,I really want/need one.

The line with the restrictor comes off the bottom of the boost control solenoid which is on your passenger side strut tower. The line connects to the resonator box. If that line has been replaced then the restrictor probably went with it.
