Hey everyone,
Ive been wanting this car for a while, but its starting to drive me nuts. My wife isnt happy at all in the time im spending on it, and not having any progress. Ive been dealing with torque bind, and its little quirks. I bought the car as a project, but i suck at transmission stuff. The motor runs great, Ive had no problems whatsoever with it. I put new pads on the front, and the brakes work fine. I've currently got a pretty good system in the car.
I dont know if i should get it fixed (replace tranny, swap to M/T or something else) or just get rid of it (sell it whole, does run and drive or part it out)
Let me know what you think.
1991 SS A/t possible F/S 1000 ish?

I guess i should let people know a little more on mine. I bought it from here about 8 months ago from Itkindaworks. All the electrical works, (with the exception of the sunroof-- it works when it wants to work, lol) its got the LSD rear end. Interior is dirty, but mostly complete. Original wheels, probably needs two new front tires.

I fixed my torque bind w/this reference:
http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/sho ... orque+bind
Pull the rear housing (tranny stays in the car), file down the grooves on the shaft and put in a new duty C solenoid. Not a huge job and doable in a day.
And there's a lot more info on that site, too.
