What causes Code 11

Post by Buffman »

I did a black connector test the other day and noticed the only code it was throwing 11. Well it looked like 11 at least. I dont think there's a flashing indicating no codes present is there?

Car has always started fine, and the only CEL I ever got was the Knock Sensor.

Did a Green and Black test and nothing came up. Car starts fine. Only thing I can think of since last reset was when I accidently grounded out the wire I was using to jump the AC compressor clutch. and it caused the car to stall. Would that have somehow set the code for crank sensor??

I'd reset the ECU. If your crank angle sensor was bad, the car wouldn't run.

Yeah that's what I gathered that if it was bad, I wouldn't be driving the car around. I've since then reset the ECU, so I guess next time i get under there, I'll do a Code check again and see if it came back.
