Anyone heard from Blackbart?

Post by n2x4 »

I know back in like June he said he was going to be away due to a medical emergency, but has anyone heard from him since then? I hope everything's alright. He was an awesome guy - very helpful and enjoyed hooking people up with parts!

I'm glad someone asked. I had been wondering where he's been at. I certianly hope he's okay. I'd missed the medical emergency post so hopefully that went well.

Frank's a great guy and has helped me out a lot of jams. The BBS hasn't been the same without him.

Speaking of long lost members, anyone heard from Vikash or Ciper in a while?

Here's the post. It was back in July: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=36777

Frank was our top secret parts guy, you don't realize how much you depend upon people until they're MIA!

That and only the real cool people on forums get recognized first name only.

I'd like to get a hold of Vikash. He's not to far from where I live and I'd like to meet him!

He spoke to me through PMs a couple of months ago.

I don't feel I have the right to speak on his behalf, but I'll simply say that he's had a very traumatic death in the family and likely won't be very active anymore, or at least not selling parts.

He misses us and misses being part of the community, as we miss him. I wish him the best.

Whoa, that's nuts. :( I was wondering what was up with Frank as well... (being a fellow PA neighbor). We sure do miss him here!

I always hate to hear something like that. If you end up talking to him again, please pass on my condolences and let him know the BBS misses him.

Yeah, that's terrible news. He's a good guy and I wish him the best.

If there was anyone who I know the most on here it is Frank. I needed a part that I didn't even know the name of and he sent it to me for free! He's an awesome guy. Frank we need you!

Awesome idea! This is why I dig being a part of this forum. It's a true family community.

I'm all for the idea...!
