1994 equal-length headers?

I've been searching.

Does anybody make equal-length headers for the 1994 N/A EJ22 Legacy.

Actually any performance exhaust components at all?



Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

MRT used to make a full system for the impreza that could be fitted.

I'm not sure if there are any now. Most stuff for the GC series impreza should fit with some exhaust piping tweaking.

im surprised with all the headers they make for the civics and other imports found on ebay, that someone doesn't make a set for the N/A Subies.

OBX also makes them. They show up on eBay sporadically, or at least they did.

I have a set of the above mentioned OBX headers. Very nice quality, particularly for the price. Sadly they haven't gotten on the OBW yet as I have to swap heads to do so.

Hopefully a winter project though. They are nice stainless headers with a small flex pipe section to mate back up to the existing exhaust.

Someone on Rs25 Dynoed the OBXs vs. the MRTs vs. the Borlas.
The OBX's BEAT all of the other headers in powerband + Peak HP/TQ numbers & it was the cheapest too boot!

These will only fit dual port cars but I believe BC Legacy 2.2's are dual port so you should be good to go.

This is all good news, the only problem is I can't find any form of equal headers for the first-gen Legacys what so ever.. excluding the RS. As far as what's maybe compatible is a different story, that'd be neat too though.

Too bad my Legacy isn't the Legacy people seek to tune.

This will prove to be a difficult find.

The first gen. Legacy's use the Phase 1 2.2L. This is a dual port exhaust motor. Any equal length header that works for a 2.5L dual exhaust port will work for your 2.2L. Note that both motors must be non-turbo for this to hold.

Or have you swapped your motor for a later generation 2.2.

The OBX header that I referenced WILL fit a first gen USDM Legacy, provided you still have the stock motor.

Also note that I am assuming you are looking for these headers for your 94 L or your 90 LS.
