225/60/16's on WRX rims?

Post by 206er »

anyone know if this combo will fit without rubbing on a stock height legacy wagon? AGX struts and stock springs.

I'm going to submit my vote that it will rub.

That's a tall sidewall with the 225 width. *I know, 'no sh*t sherlock' :).

I'm running a 205/55/16 and when I had my stock struts it was pretty close to the perch in the rears. I'm guessing the extra width and height will kill it for you.

I'm assuming you're looking at a snow tire?

the rims are 55mm offset right?

you will probably have a small issue with the spring perch that may be taken care of with a hammer. there is a slight possibility youll rub the fender to but that's an easy rolling with a baseball bat fix.

im running 17 225 45 on a 42mm offset and i rubbed on the fenders. i'm also still on stock suspension. i do have a fair bit of room to the spring perch though.

it would probably fit fine with lower profile tires
